This attribute can be used in several contexts:

For use within the mathematics element (<mml:math>). Use documentation for the Mathematical Markup Language (MathML) 2.0 Tag Set. (http://www.w3.org/TR/MathML2/)
With the <private-char>, where it contains the unique name for the private character being defined.

In element <mml:math>, this attribute may be used if the element is used.
