lang-translate Language Translate Flag

Should the content of this element be translated? Possibilities are “yes” or “no”.

Usage/Remarks

Rationale/Use: Used primarily to prevent translation. For example, if a quotation is intended to be read in Latin and should not be translated (even if the entire article is translated from one language to another) or a phrase should not be localized.
Language Groups: In JATS, members of a language group use the @lang-group attribute to point to the @id of one of their members, binding the group together.
