Caption Element Control For a Table

This parameter entity holds the INCLUDE or IGNORE keyword to control a conditional marked section. This Tag Set has redefined the element <caption>. Therefore, this Tag Set’s NISO JATS table model has modified the XHMTL™ model to change an INCLUDE to an IGNORE, effectively removing the default XHTML definition of caption, so the element would not be multiply defined.

Remarks

The NISO JATS table model parameter entity is used in the same way as the equivalent parameter entity in the XHTML 1.1 table model.
