Type of Related Article
Type of article being described by the element (for example,
“companion-article”,
“corrected-article”, “retracted-article”).
Usage
The <related-article> element describes
(and may point to) another article that bears some relationship to the book or book part.
This attribute describes (names the type of) the article being pointed to.

Value | Meaning |

Restriction | @related-article-type is required; it must be provided if the element is used. |
Suggested usage
Potential values for this attribute describe how the related article is related to
this book or book part:
addendum | Additional material for
a book, which was generated too late to be added
to the main text, so it was published as a journal article instead. |

commentary | Associated commentary, review, or editorial describing the book |
companion | Used in a book or book part to name a companion (related) journal article |
correction-forward | Used in a book to name (point forward to) any associated correction
(rarely used) |
in-this-book | Names a related book part in the same book or volume |
letter | Names a letter to a publication or a reply to such a letter that talks about
the book |
