<publisher-loc> Publisher’s Location

Place of publication, usually a city, such as New York or London.

Usage/Remarks

The <publisher-loc> element is used in several contexts:
  1. As a part of the metadata concerning the book itself (as part of the <publisher> element inside <book-meta>), a book part (inside <book-part-meta>), or a collection (inside <collection-meta>);
  2. Within the metadata that describes external objects such as products being reviewed or related objects being referenced; and
  3. Inside a bibliographic reference list (<ref-list>) inside an <element-citation> or a <mixed-citation>.
