%caption.element; Caption Element Control For a Table

This parameter entity holds the INCLUDE or IGNORE keyword to control a conditional marked section. This Tag Set has redefined the element <caption>. Therefore, this Tag Set’s NISO JATS table model has modified the XHTML™ model to change an INCLUDE to an IGNORE, effectively removing the default XHTML definition of caption, so the element would not be multiply defined.

Usage/Remarks

The NISO JATS table model parameter entity is used in the same way as the equivalent parameter entity in the XHTML 1.1 table model.
