publisher-type Type of Publisher
Type of publisher or publishing organization of a work being cited (for example,
“government”,
“university”,
“commercial”,
“foundation”,
“private”,
“corporate”).
Usage/Remarks
Standards Document Best Practice
When citing a standards document (such as “ISO 9000”), whether the @publication-format calls the document a “standard” or a “book”, the @publisher-type attribute should not be used.
Attribute History
The @publication-type, @publisher-type, and @publication-format attributes replace the @citation-type attribute of prior versions, which provided no clear way to distinguish these different
notions.
OPTIONAL on elements: <element-citation>, <mixed-citation>, <nlm-citation>
